Sheltering Under Pressure: Frontline Realities of Canada’s Violence Against Women Shelters and Transition Houses offers an updated, evidence-based look at how shelters are operating under sustained pressure due to chronic underfunding, aging infrastructure, workforce pressures, and the ongoing housing crisis. This report is accompanied by a series of advocacy tools to help shelters make use of the data in conversations or advocacy with funders and policymakers.
