The eleventh national survey of shelters and transition houses (THs) serving women, children, and gender-diverse people affected by violence. This issue of Shelter Voices was designed to improve understanding of the food security crisis and its impact on shelters/THs, including individuals working in these spaces and survivors accessing supports. Insights from the survey include how organizations provide food, respond to rising costs, and support survivors whose needs often extend beyond their stay in shelter.
